Loganlea is a suburb of Logan. The eastern frontier of Loganlea is marked by a winding section of the Logan River.

The north part of the suburb is linked with the Beenleigh railway line. The western side follows partially along Kingston Road and Scrubby Creek.

The Logan Motorway passes through the northern top of Loganlea where it is linked to Kingston Road.

DEMOGRAPHICS

There is a mixture of housing demographics in Loganlea. It is a mix of aged care facilities, average-sized blocks, new high-density houses, detached houses, and established houses. Like other Logan suburbs, Loganlea is benefiting from noticeable population growth. According to the census report, the growth between 2006 and 2011 was 16.6%. The average age of the Loganlea population was 30 years.

TRANSPORT

Loganlea railway station links to regular Queensland Rail City Network services to Gold Coast, Brisbane, and Beenleigh. Loganlea Station and road are two arterial roadways in Loganlea. Station Road, Monash Road, and Haig Road are the Loganlea’s main connecting roads. A road overpass of the Beenleigh rail line was built in the south of the Station.

EDUCATION

Loganlea State High School is a government secondary school for girls and boys at Neridah street. The school had an enrollment of 619 students with 72 teachers and 53 non- teaching staff in 2017. It offers a special education program. There is no primary school in the suburb. The nearest primary schools are Kingston State School in neighbouring Kingston in the north-west and Waterford West State School in neighbouring Waterford West..
