Three radial bus routes pass through the suburb, the Wynnum Road is serviced by three bus routes that travel between the eastern suburbs and Brisban central business district. When these routes combine, they offer frequent service with a long span. Crown Street, Stanley Street, and Canara Street through the centre of the suburb are serviced by all the bus stops that travel through Brisbane central business district and Carindale Shopping Centre bus station.

Norman Park State School is a public primary school for girls and boys at 68-88 Agnew Street. The Seven Hills State School and the Coorparoo State School in Coorparoo also enroll students from the southern part of the suburb. There is no secondary school in Norman Park. The nearest secondary school is Coorparoo Secondary College in Coorparoo.
